Fourth and 10 at K’s 30. K-1 punts. Before the kick ends, R-2 illegally contacts K-2 at R’s 8. The untouched punt then crosses R’s goal line. After the ball is dead but before the ready-for-play, K-1 taunts R-2. Both penalties are accepted.
R-2’s foul qualifies for post-scrimmage kick enforcement. Because the kick ended in R’s end zone, the PSK spot is R’s 14; however, R’s foul at R’s 8 is behind the PSK spot, so enforce from R’s 8. The 10-yard penalty is half the distance to R’s goal, placing the ball at R’s 4. Then enforce K-1’s dead-ball unsportsmanlike foul 10 yards from that succeeding spot to R’s 14. The final result is R’s ball, 1st and 6 at R’s 14. Rules 10-2-2C, 10-2-4 Exception 2, and 10-1-4.
