Inside the final 2 minutes of the 2nd or 4th periods, A-1: (a) advances the ball across the zone line-to-gain and is deflagged inbounds; or (b) advances the ball across the zone line-to-gain, runs 5 more yards, and flag guards before stepping out of bounds.
In (a), the clock stops for the 1st down and will restart when the Referee marks the ball ready for play. In (b), the clock stops for the player stepping out of bounds and will restart on the snap, regardless of whether the penalty is accepted.
